Hubert Decaluwe came to London from Europe and founded one of the initial asphalt plants in the area. The business is actually still in existence today, just not under the same name, ownership or building. The business has been refurbished and updated, and Hubert has passed on the paving knowledge to his sons.
Jerry worked with his dad for many years before going out on his own in 1991. Now, his son, Chris, who has been working in the business since high school, helps runs the business alongside Jerry.
